Agentive is the AI workspace built for modern audit teams—we’re a purpose-built tool for requesting and testing audit evidence. Auditors select an audit procedure, add a client request, and receive an AI-drafted workpaper within 60 seconds of client upload. Clients experience 50% less re-work in completing client request and auditors achieve 10x efficiency in testing audit evidence.
Why this role matters
Auditors like you are incredibly proud of their education, technical expertise, and the role audits play in building trust in financial markets. But you’ve experienced first-hand why clients and auditors often feel frustrated during an audit and overall satisfaction is not as high as it should be. So much of audit has been stagnant for too long. Our strategy is to solve these pain points through human-centered design and artificial intelligence. We care about delighting every stakeholder in audit and making audits more simple and profitable.
As our very first seller you’ll partner with our co-founder and CEO, Danny Alberson (also a former auditor), to drive awareness of our product, design the sales playbook, and help thousands of auditors and clients escape the monotony of audit.
What you’ll do in your first 12 months
• Own pipeline creation – craft target‑firm lists, launch outbound sequences, and convert cold outreach into discovery calls.
• Co‑run demos & closes – shadow the CEO, learn the narrative, then take the wheel on qualification, product walkthroughs, and proposals.
• Shape positioning – translate audit pain points into crisp messaging; feed product & UX ideas straight to engineering.
• Build the GTM stack – own our CRM workflows, metrics, and sales experience.
• Success Metrics – # Leads, # of Discovery Calls, # of Qualified Demos, Win/Loss %
You might be a great fit if …
• 2–5 years as an auditor in public accounting (No preference for size of firm) and active CPA.
• You’ve experienced multiple audit busy seasons, requested evidence from clients (PBC lists), and performed a wide range of substantive testing procedures.
• High‑agency communicator who’s just as comfortable cold‑calling an audit partner as you are debugging an audit procedure a current customer is trying to automate in our product.
• Obsessive about process improvement; you probably have a top-10 list of “audit fixes” already.
• Ready to learn the craft of selling—comfort with rejection, curiosity about buyers, and data‑driven experimentation.
Bonus points: summer sales, SaaS side‑project, rev‑ops tinkering, or prior quota‑carrying experience.
